Volvo says sells bus body plant in Finland
STOCKHOLM, July 3 (Reuters) - Swedish truck firm Volvo (VOLVb.ST: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Thursday it had signed a deal to sell its plant building bus bodies in Turku, Finland.
The plant, the smallest within its Volvo Buses unit, is being bought by management and a group of private investors.
Volvo, the world's number two truck maker, said the sale would be made at book value and would not have an impact on earnings.
The plant produced 160 bus bodies in 2007 and Volvo said it was more efficient to sell the plant and buy bodies from the new owner.
