Consolidated Media H1 profit A$57 million
SYDNEY, Feb 20 (Reuters) - Consolidated Media Holdings Ltd (CMJ.AX: Quote, Profile, Research), controlled by Australian billionaire James Packer, reported a pro forma net profit after tax of A$57 million ($52.3 million) for the half year to December.
Consolidated, formed after the break-up in December of the Packer family corporate empire Publishing and Broadcasting Ltd into two separate gaming and media companies, has media assets including a 25 percent stake in the Foxtel cable television network. ($1=A$1.09) (Reporting by James Thornhill)
