Allco shares on trading halt pending announcement

SYDNEY, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Shares of Allco Finance Group (AFG.AX: Quote, Profile, Research), an Australian asset manager, were placed on a trading halt on Monday pending an announcement.

Allco shares were sold off last month on concerns about their high debt levels and opaque structure. A steep fall in its stock price also triggered margin calls which further rattled investors. ($1=A$1.11) (Reporting by Denny Thomas;)
