June 1 (Reuters) - Melbourne Rebels lock Lopeti Timani has recovered from a head knock and is fit to play in the club's Super Rugby match against conference leaders Brumbies in Canaberra on Saturday.
Timani missed the Rebels' 41-19 defeat by the Crusaders last Saturday after picking up the knock in training. He returns to the line-up after clearing all the concussion protocols.
Rebels head coach Tony McGahan has made five changes to the squad with Timani, centre Mitch Inman and flanker Hugh Sinclair returning to the squad and Reece Hodge shifting to fullback and Ben Volavola moving back to flyhalf.
"For us, this game presents an opportunity to knock off the conference leaders for a second time this season and show what this side is capable of without a year of off-field distractions and inconsistent selection," McGahan told Australian media.
