Colonial shareholders and Investment Corporation of Dubai may start takeover talks again despite ICD's earlier bid for the indebted Spanish property firm lapsing, they said on Tuesday, confirming a Reuters report.

Newspaper ABC reports that shareholders Luis Portillo and the Nozaleda family and creditors had agreed to an ICD offer at between 1.20 and 1.30 euros/share for Colonial's office rental business. Under the deal, Portillo and Nozaleda would keep the land and residential housing business, ABC reports without citing sources.
