Ghana and Ivory Coast reach semi-finals

ACCRA (Reuters) - Ivory Coast joined hosts Ghana in the African Nations Cup semi-finals with a 5-0 victory over Guinea in Sekondi on Sunday.

In Thursday's semi-finals, Ivory Coast will meet either defending champions Egypt or Angola, who play their quarter-final in Kumasi on Monday (1700 GMT).

Hosts Ghana had earlier booked their passage to the semi-finals with a 2-1 win over Nigeria in Accra. They face Tunisia or Cameroon, who meet in Tamale on Monday (2030).
