Tennis-Montanes beats Darcis to clinch first title
AMERSFOORT, Netherlands, July 20 (Reuters) - Spaniard Albert Montanes beat defending champion Steve Darcis from Belgium 1-6 7-5 6-3 in the final of the Dutch Open on Sunday to win his first ATP title.
World number 63 Montanes started slowly against Darcis, who won his first title last year in Amersfoort by beating Austrian Werner Eschauer.
The 27-year-old Spaniard fought his way back into the match after an early break in the second set.
