O'Sullivan said resigns as Ireland coach
DUBLIN (Reuters) - Eddie O'Sullivan has resigned as Ireland coach after the disappointing Six Nations campaign, broadcaster RTE reported on Wednesday.
"At the conclusion of the Six Nations championship and having given my role as national team head coach much consideration, I have come to the decision to step down," O'Sullivan said in a statement.
Ireland finished fourth in the Six Nations Championship, winning two matches out of five.
The Irish RFU were unavailable for comment.
