U.N. council condemns 'terrorist attack' on Russia envoy in Turkey

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - The United Nations Security Council condemned on Monday what it called a "terrorist attack" in Ankara that assassinated the Russian ambassador to Turkey.

"The members of the Security Council reiterated the need to bring the perpetrators, organizers, financiers and sponsors of terrorist attacks to justice," the 15-member council said in a statement.
