May will raise trade at China meeting this year

LONDON (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Theresa May is expected to raise trade during a visit to China later this year, a trip which will underline the close relationship between the two countries, May's spokesman said on Tuesday.

"It would be a renewed expression of the close relationship between Britain and China, something that you have seen obviously develop over the past few years," he told reporters.

"I would imagine that trade would form some part of the discussions that we have."
