Mexico says investments in new oil blocks could reach $8.2 billion

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - The potential output from shallow water oil and gas blocks auctioned on Monday by Mexico could total 170,000 barrels per day of crude equivalent and investments could reach $8.2 billion (6.43 billion pounds), Mexico's Energy Minister Pedro Joaquin Coldwell said.
