Shares in Mexico mogul Slim's America Movil slump on surprise Q4 loss

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Shares in America Movil (AMXL.MX) slumped 3.7 percent on Friday, after the telecom company controlled by the family of Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim posted its largest loss in 15 years in the fourth quarter.

Latin America's biggest telecoms firm on Thursday posted a 5.972 billion peso ($289 million) net loss compared with a net profit of 15.663 billion pesos in the year-earlier quarter.
