U.S. House committee will hold hearing on Amtrak crash

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. House of Representatives Transportation Committee will hold a hearing on the Amtrak passenger train accident in Philadelphia on Tuesday in which eight people were killed, the panel’s chairman said on Friday.

Republican congressman Bill Shuster of Pennsylvania said the date for the hearing will be announced in the future.
