ATHENS, March 23 (Reuters) - Defending champions Olympiakos Piraeus opened up a four-point gap at the top of the Greek championship with a 3-1 win away at struggling Levadiakos on Sunday.

After second-placed Panathinaikos had been held to a 1-1 draw by Iraklis on Saturday, Olympiakos came back from a goal down to post what was ultimately a convincing win.

Olympiakos went behind in the seventh minute when Patrick Dimbala gave Levadiakos a surprise lead.

Luciano Galletti levelled after 19 minutes, Fernando Belluschi put them ahead in the 31st and Darko Kovacevic secured the points four minutes later.

The win means that with four rounds remaining Olympiakos, who are seeking their 11th league title in 12 years, now have 61 points.

AEK Athens, who beat Apollon Kalamarias 1-0 thanks to a 56th minute goal from Edinho, remain third on 56 points.

Fourth-placed Aris Salonika conceded a late goal to give Larissa a share of the points in a 1-1 draw in Thessaloniki.

Tony Calvo put Aris ahead in the 56th minute with a longe range shot that bobbled in front of the goalkeeper who could only deflect it into the net.  Continued...
