(Reuters) - Democratic presidential candidates Barack Obama, an Illinois senator, and Hillary Clinton, a New York senator, split a pair of primary contests on Tuesday, with Obama winning the North Carolina vote and Clinton managing to pull off a narrow victory in Indiana.
