Taishin Financial Holding Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the finance industry through its subsidiaries. The Company operates its business through three groups: wholesale banking group, retail banking group and wealth management group. The Company mainly invests in the businesses of banking, bills finance, credit cards, trust, insurance, securities, futures, venture capital, foreign financial institutions as approved by relevant authorities and other finance-related businesses as approved by relevant authorities. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company obtained approximately 74% and 26% of its total revenue from retail banking business and wholesale banking business, respectively.

BRIEF: For the nine months ended 30 September 2009, Taishin Financial Holding Company Limited's interest income decreased 43% to NT$31.86B. Net interest income after LLP dropped 15% to NT$12.25B. Net loss available to Com increased 51% to NT$1.14B. Net interest income after LLP reflects a drop in interest income. Net loss also suffered from the absence of gain on credit card, as well as lower processing fees income.
