Largan Precision Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company engaged in research, development, design, manufacture and distribution of optical lens modules, real image view finders and optoelectronic parts. The Company’s major products are applied in manufacture of scanners, cameras, multifunctional machines, liquid crystal display (LCD) projectors, mobile cameras, digital versatile disks (DVDs) and light emitting diodes (LEDs), among others. The Company distributes its products principally in Asia, the Americas, Europe and Africa.

BRIEF: For the nine months ended 30 September 2009, Largan Precision Company Limited's revenues decreased 6% to NT$5.42B. The Company's net income for the period decreased 35% to NT$1.59B. Total revenues reflect a decrease in sales volume from overall business operation. Net income also suffered from lower gross profit margin and higher loss on disposal of fixed assets, as well as the presence of loss on equity investment.
