The Electronic Materials segment manufactures and sells semiconductor silicon, organic materials and rare earth magnets for the electronics industry, as well as photoresist products. The Functional Materials and Others segment manufactures and sells synthetic quartz, rare earth and rare earth magnets for general use, as well as exports technology and plants and exports and imports other goods. This segment is also involved in the provision of construction, plant engineering and information processing services.
