The Factory Automation (FA) division is engaged in the development, manufacture, sale and maintenance of FA products, such as computer numeric control (CNC) systems, laser products and servomotors including spindle motors, linear motors and synchronous built-in motors. The Robot division is engaged in the development, manufacture, sale and maintenance of robotic products. The Robot Machine division is engaged in the development, manufacture, sale and maintenance of robotic machines including, small-sized machining centers, electric injection molding machines, wire electric discharge machines and ultra-precision five-axle nano-processing machines. BRIEF: For the six months ended 30 September 2009, FANUC LTD.'s revenues decreased 61% to Y88.47B. The Company's net income decreased 85% to Y8.96B. Revenues reflect lower sales of the Company's products due to unfavorable market environment.
