The Tokyo Tomin Bank, Limited (the Bank) is a Japan-based regional bank. The Bank is engaged in the guarantee business for home and consumer loans, the exchange of bills and checks, the printing and publishing businesses, the exchange- and tax-related clerical work, the information processing (IP) business, the operation and management of electronic computing centers, the provision of consultation services for business management, domestic finance and real estate properties to corporate and individual customers, the acquisition and brokerage of securities, the credit card business and the leasing business, among others. The Bank has eight subsidiaries and one associated company. On August 10, 2009, the Company announced that it had established a Shanghai-based wholly owned subsidiary on August 6, 2009.
