The Banking segment is engaged in the provision of banking services, such as deposit, loan, domestic and foreign exchange, among others. The Others segment is engaged in the guarantee business, the business revitalization support business, the securities business, the loan management and collection businesses, the credit card business, as well as the provision of initial public offering (IPO) support, staffing and real estate management services, through its subsidiaries and associated companies. Fukuoka Financial Group has 27 consolidated subsidiaries and three associated companies.

BRIEF: For the three months ended 30 June 2009, Fukuoka Financial Group, Inc.'s total interest income decreased 9% to Y50.01B. Net interest income after LLP increased 9% to Y33.41B. Net income applic. to Common totaled Y21.63B, up from Y6.35B. Net interest income reflects lower loan interest also suffers from higher loan loss provision. Net income benefits from increased other operating profits as well as lower loss on disposal of fixed assets.
