eAccess Ltd. is a Japan-based information technology (IT) company. The Company operates in three business segments. The Network segment engaged in the provision of asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) services, the Internet service provider (ISP) services under the name American Online (AOL) and backbone network netting, as well as the high-speed mobile data communication services. The Device segment is engaged in the development and sale of terminals. The Mobile segment is engaged in the provision of mobile broadband communication services. The Company has three subsidiaries and one associated company.

BRIEF: For the three months ended 30 June 2009, eAccess Ltd.'s revenues decreased 12% to Y21.42B. The Company's net income totaled Y462M, vs. a loss of Y2.81B. Revenues reflect lower sales especially from the devices business due to unfavorable market environment. Net income is offset by a lower percentage of cost of sales and the presence of Y467M gain on amortization of negative goodwill as well as significantly decreased equity loss.
