Accor SA is a France-based company providing services categorized in two core business segments: Hotels and Services. BRIEF: For the six months ended 30 June 2009, Accor SA's total revenue decreased 9% to EUR3.41B. Net loss totaled EUR150M, vs. a profit of EUR310M. Total revenue reflects lower demand for the Company's services in the Hotels: Economy, Hotels: Business and Leisure and Other: Casinos business segments mainly in France and Latin America. Net loss reflect deteriorated operating margins due to the higher restructuring charges and impairment losses.
