Amper SA is a Spain-based holding company primarily engaged in the telecommunications industry. The Company’s business is structured in three areas: Amper Defensa, comprising the design, production and maintenance of military command and control information systems, as well as avionic and radio assistance for flight navigation; Amper Homeland Security, focusing on the management of communications systems for the public security markets, such as water, energy, transport and frontier control, and the manufacture of security coding equipment, and Amper Telecom, which provides communication solutions for telecommunication operators. The Company is a parent of Grupo Amper, a group which comprises Amper Soluciones SA, Amper Tecnologias SA, Amper Programas SA, Amper Sistemas SA, Epicom SA, Amper Medidata SA, Telcar SA and Landata Ingenieria SA, among others. In addition, the Company is a 21.85%-owned affiliate of TviKap AB.

BRIEF: For the six months ended 30 June 2009, Amper SA's total revenue decreased 16% to EUR138.7M. Net loss for the period increased 95% to EUR2M. Total revenue reflects a decrease in demand for the Company's products and services. Higher net loss for the period reflects a loss on equity in affiliates and foreign exchange as well as lower financial income and deteriorated operating margin due to higher depreciation charges.
