Avanzit SA is a Spain-based company primarily active, through its subsidiaries, in the infrastructure and telecommunications sectors. The Company is structured into five business areas: Avanzit Infraestructuras, which is mainly involved in the telecommunications, transport, energy, public services and civil engineering (engineering, construction, hotels and the environment); Avanzit Tecnologia, which provides information and communication technology solutions; Avanzit Internacional, engaged in the international infrastructure and technological activities; Vertice 360 Grados, dedicated to the production, post-production and distribution of audiovisual products, and Navento, active in geo-localization services. Avanzit SA is present in 25 countries on four continents. As of December 31, 2008, the main shareholders of the Company is TSS Luxembourg I, SARL, which holds a 11.607% stake in Avanzit SA.

BRIEF: For the six months ended 30 June 2009, Avanzit SA's total revenue decreased 50% to EUR83.5M. Net loss for the period totaled EUR10.7M, vs. a profit of EUR5.6M. Total revenue reflects a decrease in demand for the Company's products and services especially in the Infrastructure and Media Vertices business segments. Net loss for the period reflects lower operating margins as well as lower financial income.
