BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 31 March 2009, Bank of Ireland's total interest income fell 7% to EUR9.71B. Net interest income after LLP fell 29% to EUR2.2M. Net income fell 97% to EUR58M. Net interest income reflects a decrease in interest & similar income from loans and higher bad debt provisions. Net income also reflects the presence of impairment charges on goodwill & other intangible assets.
