Bursa Malaysia Berhad is an exchange holding company, whose principal activities are treasury management. The activities of the subsidiaries are to operate the securities, derivatives and offshore exchanges in Malaysia, and the related depository and clearing houses, including the compilation, provision and dissemination of information relating to securities quoted on the exchanges. It operates in four business segments: exchanges, which provides, operates and maintains futures and options, bonds and offshore financial exchanges; clearing, settlement and depository, which provides, operates and maintains clearing houses for the securities and futures and options exchange, and a central depository for securities listed on the securities exchange; information services, which provides and disseminates information relating to securities quoted on exchanges within the Company, and exchange holding, which acts as an investment holding company.
