During the fiscal year ended October 30, 2008, the Company sold its United States-based investment banking, equities, leveraged finance and related debt capital markets businesses, to Oppenheimer Holdings Inc. (Oppenheimer). In July, 2008, it sold its remaining shares in Visa Inc.
