Discount Investment Corporation Ltd., part of the IDB Holding Group, is an Israel-based holding company. BRIEF: For the six months ended 30 June 2009, Discount Investment Corporation Ltd.'s total revenue increased 35% to NIS6.24B. Net income totaled NI1.23B, up from a net income of NIS255M. Total revenues reflect higher inflows from the Machteshim Agan as well as the Shufersl segments, in addition to higher income from sales and services provided. Net income also reflects a significant decrease in financing expenses.
