Digimarc Corporation (Digimarc), formerly DMRC Corporation, enables governments and enterprises around the world to give digital identities to media and objects that computers can sense and recognize, and to which they can react. The Company’s technology provides the means to infuse digital information, perceptible only to computers and digital devices, into all forms of media content. On August 1, 2008, L-1 Identity Solutions, Inc. completed the acquisition of the Digimarc Corporation’s (Old Digimarc) identification documents (ID) systems business. As a result, Old Digimarc became a wholly owned subsidiary of L-1 and changed its name to L-1 Secure Credentialing, Inc. Prior to the completion of the merger, Old Digimarc had transferred its digital watermarking business to DMRC Corporation, which changed its name to Digimarc following the merger.
