Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation PLC is the holding company of a diversified natural resources group with integrated mining, processing, energy, logistical and marketing operations. It has five operating divisions: the Ferroalloy, which comprises the extraction and sale of chrome ore, as well as the production of ferroalloys from chromium and manganese ores; Iron Ore, which comprises the extraction, processing and manufacturing of iron ore products; Alumina and Aluminium, which comprises the extraction and processing of bauxite and limestone, and the smelting of alumina and aluminum; Energy, which comprises coal mining and power generation, and Logistics, which is the freight forwarder and railroad operator in the Republic of Kazakhstan, providing international logistics for all the Company’s operations, also rail construction and repair services for the Kazakhstani state rail company. In October 2008, the Company acquired 50% interest in Xinjiang Tuoli.
