Gecina SA is a France-based real estate investment trust primarily engaged in the rental of commercial and residential buildings. It manages and develops a portfolio of assets, comprising offices, residential buildings, healthcare facilities, logistic estate and hotels. The Company's properties are located in Paris and the Parisian suburbs, as well as in Lyon and other areas. Gecina SA operates through a number of subsidiaries, including Gec4, Geciotel, Geciter, Campusea, Locare and Parigest. In March 2009, the Company launched a tender offer to acquire all shares of Gecimed, in which it already owns 48% as of December 2008. Gecina SA is listed on the Euronext Paris Stock Exchange.
