BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 30 June 2009, Hays plc's revenues decreased 4% to £2.45B. Net income from continuing operations decreased 65% to £35.2M. Revenues reflect higher sales from Continental Europe & Rest of World and Asia Pacific regions. Net income was offset by higher operating expenses, an increase in net fees, a rise in pension protection fund levy and absence of exceptional item which includes defined benefit plan.
