BRIEF: For the nine months ended 30 September 2009, Kemira Oyj's total revenue decreased 15% to EUR1.92B. Net income for the period increased 10% to EUR73.4M. Total revenue reflects lower sales in the Paper & Pulp-, Oil & Mining- and Tikkurila business segments due to deteriorated market conditions. Net income for the period benefited from decreased depreciation- and impairment charges and a lower loss from net financial items.
