BRIEF: For the nine months ended 30 September 2009 Lassila & Tikanoja Oyj's net sales decreased 4% to EUR434.3M. Net profit for the period decreased 28% to EUR27.6M. Net sales reflect a decreased demand for the Company's products and services within the Environmental Services business segment. Net profit for the period suffered from a significant decrease in the operating margin due to lower other operating income, as well as higher finance costs.
