Suez SA is a France-based group primarily engaged in the production, transmission and distribution of electricity, the transport and distribution of natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG), water management, the operation and maintenance of nuclear plants, waste collection, and treatment. The Company is organized in four divisions: the SUEZ Energy Europe (SEE) division, which includes all gas and electricity activities in Europe; the SUEZ Energy International (SEI) division, which is in charge of SUEZ gas and electricity activities outside Europe; the SUEZ Energy Services (SES) division, which is engaged in all SUEZ multitechnical services activities, particularly energy efficiency, and the SUEZ Environment division, which is engaged in Company’s activities in water and waste Management. Gaz de France and SUEZ have together acquired a 1,875 megawatts CCGT power plant located in northeast England in February 2008.
