Mapletree Logistics Trust (MapletreeLog) is an Asia-focused logistics real estate investment trust in Singapore. It invests in a diversified portfolio of income-producing logistics real estate and real estate-related assets. MapletreeLog offers investments in logistics properties across the Asia-Pacific region in countries with rising logistics activities, including Singapore, Malaysia, the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, South Korea and Japan. MapletreeLog’s portfolio comprises 81 properties in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Japan and South Korea as at 31 December 2008.

BRIEF: For the nine months ended 30 September 2009, Mapletree Logistics Trust's revenues increased 18% to SP$156M. Net income increased 25% to SP$86.1M. Revenues reflect an increase in income from Singapore and higher income from Hong Kong. Net income also reflects an increase in interest income, a rise in net property income, lower borrowing costs and the presence of income on non tax deductible items vs. a loss.
