Mobistar SA is a Belgium-based company that operates in the fields of mobile and fixed telephony, asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) and other markets, such as data transmission. For its residential customers, the Company offers a range of services, including Orange World, which enables to access Internet from the mobile phones, and Mobistar ADSL Voice, which grants access to Internet and fixed telephony via Voice over IP (VoIP) technology. Mobistar also supplies various services for businesses, such as Wirefree Office, which enables clients to send text messages within a building for a price comparable to fixed telephony lines, and Mobistar One Office Voice Pack, which is a combination of fixed and mobile telephony solutions. The Company is a member of the Orange Group which bundles together France Telecom’s main mobile activities. In November 2008, Mobistar became 100% shareholder of VOXmobile.

BRIEF: For the six months ended 30 June 2009, Mobistar SA's total revenue increased 2% to EUR778.1M. Net income for the period decreased 11% to EUR128.5M. Total revenue reflects increased demand for the Company's products and services in Mobile and Fix business segment in Belgium and Luxemburg. Net income for the period was offset by slightly decreased gross and operating margins as well as decreased in financial income and an increase in financial expenses.
