Nestle SA is a company engaged in the nutrition, health and wellness sectors. It is the holding company of the Nestle Group, which comprises subsidiaries, associated companies and joint ventures throughout the world. Sales reflect decreased demand for the Company's products in Water as well as Milk Products and Ice Cream business segments, especially in Europe and Asia, Oceania with Africa geographic segments. Net profit for the period suffered from increased research and development expenses.
