Groupe ONA SA is a Morocco-based holding company structured into six business lines: mining, agribusiness, distribution, financial activities, new growth activities and holding companies. The mining segment operates through Managem, a mine and hydrometallurgical group engaged in the production of cobalt, basic metals and metallic derivatives. The agribusiness segment provides such products as sugar, biscuits, milk and dairy products, mineral water, plastic packaging, greases and sea products. The distribution sector operates in such areas as car dealing, commercial malls and equipment distribution. The financial activities are covered by its affiliates, Attijariwafa bank and Agma Lahlou Tazi. Wana and Nareva are two subsidiaries in charge of its new growth line. The holdings sector consists of five affiliates, including Mercure.com, Archos, Netcom and others, active in information technology, information systems, company networks and real estate.

BRIEF: For the six months ended 30 June 2009, Groupe ONA's total revenue increased 1% to MAD18.92B. Net income for the period increased 97% to MAD1.79B. Total revenue reflects increased demand for the Company's products and services. Net income for the period benefited from improved gross margins and operating margins as well as increased interest income. Groupe ONA is engaged in mining, agribusiness, distribution and financial activities.
