BRIEF: For the six months ended 29 August 2009, Research In Motion Limited's revenues increased 44% to $6.95B. Net income increased 14% to $1.12B. Revenues reflect an increase in revenue from BlackBerry devices & service. Net income was partially offset by an increase in cost of sales, higher research & development expenses, a rise in selling, marketing & administrative expenses, higher amortization charges and decreased investment income.
