Sportingbet Plc is engaged in the operation of licensed betting and gaming operations over the Internet. The Company operates in three business segments: sports betting, casino gaming and poker. The Company’s subsidiaries include Interactive Sports (CI) Limited, Interactive Sports Limited, Sportingbet Australia Pty Limited, Internet Opportunity Entertainment Limited, Platinum Management Advisors S.A., Sporting Odds Limited, MLB Limited, Anfield Limited, SB (Properties) Guernsey Limited, Sportingbet (Management Services) Limited, Sportingbet (IT Services) Limited and Sportingbet (Product Services) Limited. On July 21, 2009, the Company announced the sale of its licensed Italian operation (Sportingbet Italia S.p.A). During the fiscal year ended July 31, 2009 (fiscal 2009), the Company completed the disposal of Sportingbet Germany Limited.

BRIEF: For the nine months ended 30 April 2009, Sportingbet PLC's revenues increased 12% to £126.3M. Net income totaled £20M, up from £4.6M. Revenues reflect increased income from Europe, Australia & Americas geographic segments and Sports batting & Casino & Gaming business segments of the Group. Net income also reflects the absence of exceptional items, lower share option charge and a decrease Amortisation of other intangibles.
