The business of the Company comprises of Spirax Sarco and Watson-Marlow Bredel. Spirax Sarco provides steam users with knowledge, service and products to improve maintain steam heating and process plants of all types. Watson-Marlow Bredel is engaged in manufacturing of peristaltic tube and hose pumps. Watson-Marlow Bredel pumps have no valves, seals or glands, and the fluid contacts only the bore of an elastomeric hose or tube. On February 11, 2008, the Company completed the acquisition of Flexicon A/S in Denmark. In November 2008, the Company, through its subsidiary Watson-Marlow Limited, acquired PAK Machinery Ltd.
