Temple-Inland Inc. manufactures corrugated packaging and building products. During the fiscal year ended December 31, 2008 (fiscal 2008), the Company’s corrugated packaging segment provided 82% consolidated net revenues. Its vertically integrated corrugated packaging operation includes seven mills and 63 converting facilities. The Company’s building products segment provided 18% of its consolidated net revenues for fiscal 2008. The Company manufactures a range of building products, including lumber, gypsum wallboard, particleboard, medium density fiberboard (MDF), and fiberboard. In July 2008, the Company acquired the remaining 50% interest in Premier Boxboard Limited LLC (PBL). During fiscal 2008, the Company ceased the production of hardboard siding at the fiberboard plant in Diboll, Texas.
