WMS Industries Inc. (WMS) designs, manufactures and distributes gaming machines and video lottery terminals (VLTs) for customers in gaming jurisdictions worldwide. The Company’s products include video gaming machines, mechanical reel gaming machines and VLTs. Its gaming products feature advanced graphics, digital sound and engaging games, and most games incorporate secondary bonus rounds. Certain games are based on licensed brands, such as MONOPOLY, POWERBALL and THE WIZARD OF OZ. The Company conducts its business through its subsidiaries, including WMS Gaming Inc., Orion Financement Company (Orion Gaming) and Systems in Progress GmbH. In June 2009, the Company ceased manufacturing in the Netherlands and integrated the manufacturing of Orion Gaming products into its facilities in Spain and United States.

BRIEF: For the three months ended 30 September 2009, WMS Industries Inc.'s revenues increased 9% to $165.3M. Net income increased 26% to $19.8M. Revenues reflect increased income generated from Product sales and higher income from Gaming operations. Net income also reflects an increase in gross profit, decreased cost of product sales, an increase in operating income and increased net interest income & other income & expense.
