Weyerhaeuser Company is a forest products company that primarily grows and harvests trees, builds homes and makes a range of forest products. The Company’s business segments are Timberlands, which includes logs, chips and timber; Wood Products, which includes softwood lumber, engineered lumber, structural panels, hardwood lumber, and building materials distribution; Cellulose Fibers, which comprises pulp and liquid packaging board; Real Estate, which comprises real estate development, construction and sales, and Corporate and Other. The Company manages 22 million acres of forests. On March 7, 2007, the Company’s fine paper operations were divested in the Domtar Transaction. On August 4, 2008, the Company’s Containerboard, Packaging and Recycling business was sold to International Paper Company. In August 2009, the Company completed the sale of its commercial business to a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlas Holdings LLC.
