Factbox: Stars behaving badly

Jarvis v Jacko

Pulp singer Jarvis Cocker was questioned by police after he invaded the stage during Michael Jackson's performance with a cast of children at the 1996 Brits.

Cocker, who was not charged, said: "I got up and once I was there I didn't really know what to do.

"So then I thought I may as well bend over and show my bum."

Prescott v Nobacon

In 1998, a member of the group Chumbawamba chucked a bucket of iced water over Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott, who was sitting in the audience with his wife, Pauline.

Singer Danbert Nobacon said it was in protest at the treatment of dock workers in Liverpool.

Oasis v Hutchence

After winning the best British band award in 1996, Oasis singer Liam Gallagher made rude gestures with the trophy.

The band then snarled at INXS singer Michael Hutchence: "Has-beens shouldn't be presenting awards to gonna-bes."

Robbie v Liam

Robbie Williams challenged Liam Gallagher of Oasis to a fight during the 2000 ceremony.

The former Take That singer said: "So, anybody like to see me fight Liam?

"Would you pay to come and see it?"

"We'll get in a ring and we'll have a fight."

Kylie and Justin

Justin Timberlake brought the house down when he performed a raunchy duet with Kylie Minogue in 2003.

He grabbed the Australian singer's bottom during their performance.

He later joked: "I've heard people in Britain are obsessed with Kylie's bottom and I can totally see why."

Westlife v So Solid Crew

Irish band Westlife and the So Solid Crew clashed in 2000.

Westlife's Brian McFadden said: "I just put my head down and went straight into them, punching."

Block v Wood

In 2000, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood was about to present an award when dance DJ Brandon Block gatecrashed the stage.

After insults were exchanged, Wood threw a drink over the DJ. The rocker later quipped: "It was a waste of a good drink."

Wood is shown in a file photo with Mick Jagger.

Eminem's chainsaw massacre

Eminem arrived on stage in 2001 wearing a hockey mask and dungarees and wielding a chainsaw.

He complained about missing out on a Grammy award, swore during his performance and faced protests from gay rights groups.

The rapper won the best international male prize.
