Macau gets a glitzy new casino
Dec. 19 - The world's number two casino operator, MGM Mirage, has opened in Macau with a gala event to mark the date.
The MGM Grand has 600-rooms and a 25-metre high glass ceiling in its opulent lobby.
But the casino will have to compete with other big casinos such as the Venetian and Wynn Resorts which have already opened their doors in the gambling haven.
