Early Madonna nudes go on exhibit

May 1 - Nude photographs of a 20-year-old Madonna are set to go on display as part of the Brighton Festival Fringe England.

In 1979, the then unknown pop star agreed to pose in the flesh for New York photographer Martin Schreiber.

Madonna modeled part-time to pay her way through dance school.

Schreiber sparked controversy in September 1985 when the pictures he took of the shoot appeared in Playboy magazine.

"The Naked Madonna Playboy Photos 30th Anniversary Exhibition" ends on June 28.
