Jul 20 - The banks of the River Seine in Paris are transformed into an urban beach for the next month.
The opening of Paris Plage means holidaymakers in Paris no longer need to travel great distances for a day at the beach.
Every summer since 2002, the banks of the Seine are transformed into a beach, aimed at attracting holiday-makers who can't afford to leave the city.
The beach spans three kilometres (1.8 miles) across three spots along the Seine.
